This weekend I’ve been remembering how I visited Salerno, Italy in early May when I was part of the Salerno Project 2025. This project was led by John Eliot, Editor and Poet, Chuck Grieve of Mosaique Press, and Linda Barone at the University of Salerno, and involved the creation and production of Correnti Incrociate 5 (Mosaique Press), an anthology of poetry which includes poets translated from English into Italian by students of literary translation. My poems, Tide Mills and Some Sundays are published in this anthology. It was a joy to meet the students and read my work in Salerno. Here is a poster about the project and readings given by the poets and students.
